I know these came a lil bit too late but its better than never. As promised, im gg to give a summary of the trip starting frm day 1 ..

Day 1

My flight's @ 7.25a.m. Got a wake up call frm my mum at 5.20am and left my sis place at 6 heading for the airport. Did a few transactions on the atm machine, got my money changed and met up with the rest for check-in. It was smooth sailing so far apart frm the terrible news of the possibility of getting offloaded dat we got yday frm Mr Chan due to the pilots' seat. Fortunately they got it fixed in time. Flt was fine 'cept for the idiotic China woman next to me. She refused to switch her bloody mobile off even after a couple of the cabin crew asked her to. Irritated but not flustered. Hong Kong.. Here i come!

Touched down at 11.15am and headed for the airport transfer counter. Waited for quite a while before they brought us to the bus. While waiting, bought my first thing in hkg- film for the camera, cost me 28 bucks, which was super ex. Arrived at the hotel at 2pm, just in time for check-in. Loads of confusion, hunger and 3 room changes later, makes a few of us an angry person. For goodness sake, we just wanna eat! Finally, went out for our lunch close to 3. We left for Tsim Sha Tsui and splitted up. Faizah and i headed for the halal cyber cafe, where all our tycoon story begins..haha. We had a list of halal joints in hkg but we ended up gg back to the same place for almost all our meals except breakfast mainly due to the close proximity and convenience of the cafe to our hotel and maybe due to "Mr Tai Koon & Tai Koon Sun"..khekhe. If you guys are wondering who they are, they are actually the cafe's owner & the son respectively. It'll just amused u guys as to how we derived their "names".

After lunch, we headed for the Esprit warehouse, a street away, where we spend the next 2hrs or so, shopping! Faizah and I , the esprit fan dat we are, went crazy over the stuffs der! It was way cheaper than wat u could get over here! I got myself a pair of jeans and pants for less than 30 bucks each, tshirts and skirt for less than 20 or some even under 10! On top of dat, we're still entitled to another 20% for purchase over hkd 500.. oh yes, we spent more dan dat! We left with huge shopping bags and headed for the Star ferry terminal. Took a few pics of the scenery and got on the ferry to Hkg island. It was fun, just like the ferry i used to take to sentosa. We just cant get enough of the picture taking though. Once there, it was like trekking in an urban jungle, map reading included. Not a single form of transport was taken, just walking. Stopped for desserts- they were just heavenly esp when we're talking abt mangoes here! & back to trekking again. Summing up the day, it was a long, tiring but fun day. Headed back to the hotel where faizah and i indulge in a warm foot soak, which became our daily regime during our stay there. Trust me, it does wonders. ;p

As requested by a certain ms ignesea, i will update more on my hkg trip. Happy? ;p

Day 2

Woked up at 8.00, by the time the 2 of us got ready it was already 9.00. Went to the nearby Mcdonald's for our breakfast. Had pancakes & bought a couple of the soft toys they had. It was soo cute dat we just had to get it.. Went back to the hotel to meet up with the rest & headed for the sports warehouse. The most interesting part of the warehouse is definitely the manual elevator. Where on earth could u find a manual elevator in singapore?! Faizah and I went back to the hotel to put our stuffs and off we go for our lunch, where else but faizah's favourite tai koon's cafe. khekhe.. We even got to surf for free. After lunch, its the Ladies' Market @ Mongkok. It was a shopper's paradise! The rows of shops doesnt seem to end. After a long tiring walk, we head for the dessert shop, which is famous for its mango desserts, u name it they'll have it..well almost. Just heavenly! Went back to the hotel again and put our shopping stuffs n for a lil bit of rest. Left the hotel again @7.30pm for the Symphony of Lights- a phyrotechnics show. After the show, its back to shopping @ the esprit warehouse again for me and faizah! Dinner back at tai koon's cafe then to HRC. Bought a couple of stuffs den headed back to the hotel @1am. Did our routine foot soak again and laughed all the way to sleep till 4am. At the end of the 2 days, im left with a few pathetic hk$..
